How to Use the Water Leak Sensor: The Water Leak Sensor needs the Maxcio Zigbee Gateway to function correctly. It won’t work if you buy it alone. Please use it with the Maxcio Gateway Hub.

Real-Time Notifications: Receive timely alarm notifications wherever you are using the Maxcio SmartLife app to protect your home. (The Maxcio Zigbee Gateway is required and sold separately. It needs a 2.4 GHz internet connection. One gateway can connect up to 22 devices.)

Compatibility: The Water Leak Sensor operates through the Tuya Zigbee Network Protocol. Unlike Wi-Fi, it provides a more stable signal, faster response, and enhanced safety and reliability. You can also connect other sub-devices, such as door sensors and temperature and humidity sensors.

Home Automation: Link the Water Leak Sensor with other Tuya solution devices, including WiFi devices, Bluetooth devices (gateway required), and ZigBee devices. For example, if water leaks from the washing machine, the smart plug connected to the washing machine will automatically switch off.

IP66 Waterproof: The Water Leak Sensor has an IP66 waterproof rating and a rust-resistant outer coating, making it suitable for humid areas like near household water sources such as dishwashers, water heaters, or washing machines.
